Nimo's Sushi Japanese - Fort Collins

My daughter wanted sashimi for her birthday dinner and as we have traveled to Japan many times and lived in Asia many years we have high standards. We were not disappointed, the sashimi was incredibly fresh and wonderful. Thank you!

Best sushi in Fort Collins. It’s a neighborhood-y spot, mostly regulars. The sushi bar is the way to go here (reservation only). Nimo and his family are always delightful. Not a place for you if you’re looking for mayonnaise and crunchy covered rolls — this is a traditional sushi spot!

If I could recommend one improvement, it would be to expand their sushi ordering menu to clearly indicate what is available as sashimi, including details on the number of pieces and prices. However, the staff are excellent at guiding customers through the options, showing no signs of the busyness they are managing. Oh, and definitely make a reservation, as they are always in high demand!

Nimos is undoubtedly the best sushi restaurant in Northern Colorado. We've been regulars for years, and we always have a fantastic experience. The quality of the food and the attentive service make us feel as though we are back in Japan. We absolutely love Nimos!
