Waltzing Kangaroo - Fort Collins

I discovered this little gem of an eatery last Spring while in town for a CSU campus visit with my son. Wow! The place is spotless clean, the staff very friendly and the food is remarkable. On my first visit, I had no appetite left to try some of their desserts, but on subsequent visits I did, they are equally as good as the meat pies. The WK is now a must-visit for me each time I come to Fort Collins, now I just need to convince its owners to open a satellite location on the East Coast so I can indulge in their great food more often!

Great pies! A fancier (but not too fancy! version of my go to snack while driving around New Zealand. Pastry was perfect, fillings generous and very delicious. Of note, the custard tart for dessert was lovely it had kind of a shortbread style crust that was perfect in texture and flavor. All around great experience. We came up from Denver to try them, and were so impressed. Will definitely be making the trip back!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in town and honestly I can't say enough good things about them. I love all the different styles of pies they make. No matter what food you're craving WK will have something to satisfy your hunger. If you haven't been here yet you are missing out.

The pies were outstanding, the crust was tender and flaky and the filling wonderful. Will recommend this to all my friends.

Enjoyed the Lamb and Rosemary and Pork with Green Chile pies, along with a Sausage Roll, followed by some fabulous desserts. I didn’t know what to expect, but this place was fantastic. The pie crust was perfectly flaky and filled with flavorful and full-bodied meats/veggies.
