Samuel Adams Brewhouse - Fort Knox

Last Friday, my husband and I enjoyed lunch at the Welsbuffet. Honestly, the mac and cheese was the best I've ever had in my life. (Sorry, Grandma!) The Wels was perfectly fried, and the mac and cheese was to die for. The greens had just the right amount of spice, thanks to a few red pepper flakes, and the cornbread was so delicious that it crumbled easily. My husband ordered an apple pie in a cup, and we ended up sharing a bowl of it. Did I mention it was an all-you-can-eat deal? I was nice and didn’t go back for a second helping of mac and cheese. You can all thank me later!

I initially gave this place a negative review, but I believe everyone deserves a second chance. I took the general manager up on her offer to reach out after reading my prior comments, and she addressed my concerns with the staff. I decided to return and was genuinely impressed by the level of service and the quality of the food this time around! As a self-proclaimed beer enthusiast, I can't fault them for not having a wider variety of craft beers that I haven't tried. However, they do have a great selection, especially for fans of Sam Adams. I tried the Nitro White Ale, which was quite enjoyable, though as a beer snob, I know most people would probably love it even more. My wife ordered the pork chops while I opted for the steak, and we both found it so delicious that we practically had to be rolled out of the restaurant! The baked beans my wife chose were absolutely delightful!

Our waitress was incredibly friendly! When we arrived, we were informed that our food would take about an hour. We decided to wait, and we're so glad we did! I enjoyed a summer drink while our appetizer arrived within just 10 minutes. We ordered the Firecracker Burger, which was pricey but definitely the best burger I’ve ever had! It was absolutely worth the wait on a busy Friday night! I couldn't even finish my meal.

The lunch buffet is minimal, but all the food they spend is soooo good. The service was great and they went beyond and beyond to accommodate my little ones. We will definitely come back.

It was my first time there last night. The service was excellent! There was so much to do! Corn hole by the fireplace, pool tables upstairs, bingo at the bar and we watched the ufc fight. Next time I will try the food!
