Bidra med feedbackSt Tropez was a real disappointment. The restaraunt had a great ambiance from the street, and the food was good, however; the service was totally unacceptable for its price point. They apparently don 't have any hard liquor, so martini 's were not an option. (not a big deal, but odd to say the least. More importantly, our waiter made us feel rushed from the begining, was very unattentive, and seemed to be more interested in chatting to his colleagues than looking after us. Not that I need nurse mating, but we were not offered water until halfway through the meal despite 2 requests. Other details, such as a 5+ minute delay in replacing a fork taken post appetizer, AFTER the main was brought to the table (and, by a waiter who wasn 't ours was missed, and honestly unacceptable for the prices charged. (French food can 't be eaten without a fork. The waiter was also very arrogant, and was almost insulted when the credit card wasn 't instantly handed over the minute he brought the bill. The food was very good, but the service was bad enough that I would not eat at this restaraunt again.
Beautiful tree lined Las Olas Blvd. Small bistro with intimate dining inside or street side. Makes me feel like I'm in love. I dine out most nights, and feel you should not judge a restaurant solely on one visit; Thus 4/20/09 Coq au vin, 4/28/09 Beaf Bourguignon, 6/25/09 Salmon Pillard, 7/29/09 Coq au vin. Superb each time. Every aspect of the dining experience, food, service ambiance, should be applauded. Bon Appetite.
I just spent a week in Fort Lauderdale and stumbled upon this delightful little restaurant while searching for a lunch spot. Dining solo, I ordered a niçoise salad, and it was the best I've ever had. The standout feature was the use of fresh tuna, cooked to order, which topped the salad—especially impressive for just $14! I returned the next evening with five friends and had a fantastic onglet steak while my wife chose the scallops; both dishes were delicious. The portions were generous, so you really don't need a starter—quite unusual for a French restaurant. I wrapped up my meal with an apple turnover, which was delightful. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a chic yet casual French dining experience with a lovely terrace.
My all-time favorite lunch spot! Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing.
The salad lacked flavor, and the endive was stale. The risotto was undercooked, and the fish was served cold. Even the VIP crepe fell short of expectations.
