Clancey's - Fort Myers

I live close to this restaurant and visit about once a week or every other week. I absolutely love the food here, and it's a great value for the price. I highly recommend trying their broccoli cheese and chicken soup if it's on the menu!

I used to visit this restaurant frequently for many years when it was near my house. However, since it has changed ownership twice, I recently had a terrible bowl of chili that was full of raw onions and lacked flavor. I will not be returning.

Great prices and good food. Portions are plentiful. The atmosphere is rocky. Had the beef with three others very good and not rigorous or chewing. They had the fried mussels and made home clam chowder all well. Four people under $50.00!

Large neighborhood restaurant, no bar.. I have to say I originally went to Clanceys with high hopes. I just moved to the area and expected more from an Irish pub. Unfortunately, although a beer can have heavy decor (which I really kick out) there was no real bar. I have to say that Clanceys served me some of my favorite sandwiches in the area. Especially steak and beef. You're super, sandwich-wise that you can't go wrong as it has to try. I wish it were more from a local bar/restaurant and I would be much more there. It felt like an independent possession and operated Perkins. Don't let that go, I still have hopes that Clanceys will walk into the cool place I know.

The last time I checked this place is still open and NOT closing at any time soon!
