What a great little find!!! My hubby and I were visiting Fort Payne and looking for a local place to eat. I had the pecan crusted salmon with green beans and a slice of their house toasted bread. My hubby had the grilled chicken Alfredo with toasted bread. My salmon was crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful. Salmon is often dry, if not cooked correctly, and this was far from it. The garlicky green beans were delicious as well. The hubby’s meal was generously covered in Alfredo with lots of grilled chicken. If we visit Fort Payne again, we will definitely return to Fontana’s.
Great food. Its a little place and nothing fancy but, good
Absolutely amazing! The dishes are consistently delicious and one-of-a-kind, with an excellent variety of choices. The service is outstanding. Whenever I'm in the area, dining here feels like a comforting homecoming.
I can confidently say that this restaurant is the best dining spot in Ft. Payne. The owner is an exceptional chef with remarkable culinary skills, and he is also a genuinely polite and respectful person. You'll truly appreciate the wonderful Southern hospitality combined with the amazing experience of enjoying authentic Italian dishes. I highly recommend stopping by to sample what they have to offer—you won't be disappointed! Even the janitor, Art, is a wonderful guy with a fantastic attitude, despite his Tourette's syndrome. This place deserves a full 5 stars!
