This is a fantastic local restaurant with outstanding BBQ. It has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where it seems like everyone is familiar with one another. The food was delicious, and the place was bustling with activity. The service was quick and professional. I tried the corn nuggets and highly recommend them. I ordered the large pork sandwich, which was cooked to perfection, and the steak fries were absolutely delicious. They offer three sauces at the table for your entrée: hot, sweet, and mild. There's also a drive-thru option available. Just a heads up, they are closed on Sundays.

When you walk in, head towards middle of the small walkway between the bar and the tables to grab a number. They don?t take names, they simply say a number out loud and if it happens to be your number, then that?s your table. The place is decorated in a sort of rustic modern way. Menu features sandwiches, platters and meats. We tried their corn nuggets, had a smoked grilled chicken sandwich and a jumbo bar-b-q sampler which included beef, pork ribs. They have a grown folks platter which is basically the same. The only difference is the jumbo has 3 of each and the grown folk has 2 of everything. They include garlic bread and a choice of two sides. We opted for their Mac cheese and coleslaw. Their bar-b-q sauces are soo good. One was classic bbq and one was more tangy and more of a buffalo wing flavor. My partner says there was a third sauce but to me it tasted similar to the more tangy one (which was my favorite) Service was friendly, courteous and the food was brought in a timely manner even though the place was packed. As people left, more people came in. Note, their drive thru was busy and their take out parking spaces were constantly being filled because of the amount of people that ordered take out. Very worth it. Will definitely be back.

The place is clean and atmosphere is decent. Food is good, but not great. Beans are good. Onion chips are good. Fries are from frozen, not fresh not good. Beef and pork were fine, but we?ve easily had much better bbq. Textures seemed a bit too uniform. We were left wondering if the meats were from reconstituted sources rather than fresh cuts.

I visited Moonswiners BBQ for a business lunch and the food was outstanding. It’s no surprise that the restaurant was packed on a Monday afternoon. The wait was no longer than 15 minutes, and it was definitely worth it. The service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

I ordered the Large Combo Pork Sandwich from a truly wonderful waitress, and the iced tea I received in a fantastic cup was perfect. I did request a drink to go, but it came out just right. The sandwiches were accompanied by some amazing fries and perfectly balanced coleslaw. Conversation ceased as we soaked in the experience together. My wife, who hails from Alabama, was in BBQ heaven. (She even searched for banana pudding while enjoying her sandwich—look it up; it’s a thing!). We left feeling like kids after a joyful meal at a church gathering.
