Fuji Japanese Steakhouse - Fort Smith

3 years I had a great experience with my church group dining out. Well it was a different experience I went up there to meet up with my church group staff meeting dinner they wouldn't let me in and said that it was all full that I couldn't go in I drove an hour up there to be rejected at the door I don't know if it was Fuji and I don't know if it was the pastor because I was late 15 minutes but anyway I will not be eating there anymore I don't care how good the food is they should have let me in I was right there waiting at the door they said that there was no room every other restaurant I've been in I always made room for you especially if you were one of the guests and you were invited I just wanted to let you know what my experience was yesterday they wanted me to sit at a different table halfway across the room I said if I'm not going to be able to sit with my church group and I don't want to eat so I left I was very disheartened the staff said that there was no more room.

Hibachi chef was very low energy. No jokes or banter with the customers. Food was OK, generous portion but WAY over salted

One of the better Hibachi restaurants I have been to, amazing flavor and their yum yum sauce is the best.

I've been going here for years. A lot of times it is hit or miss with the hibachi chef that you get at Japanese steakhouse, but at Fort Smith, you can count on having a high quality meal. I highly recommend them. Edit 12/10/23: It is worth it to tip them more than you pay for the food. The service is even better than the already AMAZING food. They are STILL consistent! I love it!
