If they eat in the mood for Mexican, then they must try la victoria! from the shrimp cocktail to the killer tacos. my opinion from the west coast sgw la victoria is the only Mexican food by far in the continuing smith area!

This is my first time here. I had such horrible experiences with previous restaurants in this location, I 'll admit I was reluctant to give La Victoria a chance! My loss!!! I ordered sweet tea, which was brought out with a lime. I ate alone today, but when I sent the picture of the tea to my husband, his response was sold. Take my money . He always has to ask for lime for his teas, and sometimes the waitstaff makes it seem a bit offputting. The salsa was a bit salty.... but that might 've been the chips....I didn 't pay close enough attention. The salsa was very delicious with just a hint of spice(my husband would 've probably said its spicy....I like hot stuff though I ordered the Bistek a la Mexicana. It was spot on! The tomatoes and jalapenos cooked perfectly with the other ingredients and made the entire meal worth it! I decided to just get floor tortillas (I usually play it safe on my first trip to a new place, and it 's hard to make a flour tortilla I won 't enjoy at least a little . The waitress was nice and attentive. Restaurant ws clean. Overall everything was great and we well definitely be going again!(because now my husband wants to try!!!
