Stewby's Seafood Shanty

Amazing! We ate there twice on our trip. There was an outdoor area for our kids to move around. You order at a counter inside then they call your number which was ideal instead of being seated and served when we have young ones. Plus the food was so good and affordable! Definitely get the cheese grits!

Quick review: Long wait to order, good fresh food.Longer review: It's a high end fast food style restaurant. Lots of waiting to get your order in, but the food is definitely worth the wait (Unless you're stuck outside in the summer waiting to get in). I love that the food is freshly made, and the pictures on the walls of the fish they process in the back are super cool and informative. My biggest gripe is having the drink machines in the back so you have to wait and interrupt the line to get a refill. Also not including the drink in a dinner meal combo is kinda rude...

Food was one of the best meals we had while on our vacation! So much so we came back for a second dinner one night after we ate dinner at another place. Fresh seafood at a great price.

Very busy establishment. You order as you enter the building. Find a seat! This place was packed on August 5th. Order# is called when food is ready. Nice atmosphere. More of a place for tourists. The locals enjoy it as well.

Shanty has the best seafood in Fort Walton.the shrimps taste very fresh, the shrimps are giant! The gumbo was also very good.The restaurant doesn’t seem fancy, but their food is great.
