Bidra med feedbackWe arrived before dinner to sit at the bar and have drinks. The bartender must have been angry about something because she kept slamming down plates and bottles. We were seated for dinner about 6:45 but did not get our meal until 8:30. People came and went around us. The only explanation that we received was that they were out of mashed potatoes, and the only compensation we received was a partial price reduction. We used to love this place! Our experience was unfortunate.
Upon arrival we checked in and waited about 10 minutes before being lead to the bar area. I had requested a nice booth next to the window since we were celebrating a friend’s marriage engagement. When I asked to be seated upstairs the hostess was stoic and a bit condescending. And refused to accommodate my request. Once Meghan restaurant manager intervened the situation was quickly rectified. Unfortunately, the food was just OK. The steaks were over cooked lobster tail was over cooked and had a very funny odor and taste. Once again, Meghan apologized and offered a free dessert to the couple that was celebrating although this happened, Meghan was very professional throughout the whole time and if we were to go back only be because of Meghan .
Busy Friday evening during restaurant week. The waiter was excellent. Food delivery, done by others was not up to par. Entree for one of party of three delivered 4 minutes before the other entrees. Also, side of mushrooms took another two to three minutes.
We asked for a special table as we had just come through a very difficult season and were needing a nice night out. they put us upstairs overlooking Sundance Square perfect! Food was outstanding and the service was top notch. A great experience!
We had to wait a long time to place even a drinks order and then waited an hour for our food.
