La Boucane - Fouesnant

One of the two options for dinner in the archipelago. The portions are big, so it kight be worth sharing. The fish was fresh, the sause was rich.

Booked a table, which is a must when visiting the islands. Waitress spoke excellent english and was really friendly, told us lots about the island and her work there. Made us want to go back and perhaps stay a night or two on the island. The food was great as was the atmosphere and we didnt think it was too expensive, especially given where we were. The kids loved it and both had ice creams afterwards. The beer served was super, I could have sat there drinking all day. So many people say dont eat in the restaurants and bring a picnic; I'm so glad we didnt as the food here was fab as as the atmosphere. We would certainly dine here again when back on the islands. We had muscles, I had steak, they also served ham hocks, salads, chips etc. Pretty basic french menu but was great. the french dessert (a bit like a caramel) is a must!

They didn't even try to serve us as a customer. They seems to be rich enough. We dont go back there! Very unfriendly staff, like france in the very, very past.

A very friendly place to spend a pleasant moment in an idyllic setting on a large terrace where many visitors of the glacial archipelago are located. besides the boss is really nice and friendly, you can ask him questions, he will answer you without any problem, in addition he has a lot of humor and very pleasant. so everything to spend a pleasant moment.
