Bidra med feedbackHad dinner there with my family last night as we had heard great things and we weren't disappointed..friendly, comfortable environment, great food with a nice variety on the menu. Homemade breads brought to our table as well as a mini appetizer, then had the croquette to start, followed by duck and it was delicious...not to mention the chocolate fondant, which was fab..nice portion sizes and a delicious selection of vegetables..i would definitely go back and highly recommend that people give it a try..even better that it's right on our doorstep..keep up the good work ..
Ate in this beautiful restaurant last week and let me say the food definitely lived up to the high expection I had from reading the menu. To start beautiful homemade bread came to the table (bacon and cheese and fennel) these were delish. We had starters of courgette and squash soup and stuffed Yorkshire pudding, mains 10oz fillet steak and 3 little pigs go fishing and a chocolate fondant to share. Beautiful meat obviously bought from great meat producers. The way the pork main was presented showed alot of thought had been put into the plate. Showing different ways to eat 3 different cuts of pork and the flavours on the plate to compliment were just right. All in all couldn 't fault our meals at all. Hats off to the chef for bringing top class food to a small local town. And can I also just note the decor of this restaurant is fabulous. All the little details and luxurious curtains, comfy beautiful chairs even the plates the food is brought out on. ALOT of effort has been put in here. 100% recommend a visit here. I can 't wait to go back and sample some other delights from the menu.
Wow what a meal!!! Just fabulous. Will definitely be back, as soon as possible
Had dinner in The Cheeky Pig this weekend, absolutely fab. Delicious food wine, lovely atmosphere and the decor is stunning! Congrats to Veronica, John Lee for bringing a top class dining experience to Foxford!
Lovely relaxed ambience, food and company. I enjoyed my soup of the day, followed by 12oz steak. I was grateful to appreciate the fact that the meal was sourced locally and therefore, directly contributing to the local economy.I look forward to my next visit :
