Miyako - Foz do Iguaçu

This is the most authentic Japanese restaurant I have experienced in Brazil. period. it goes without saying that I think it is the best sushi that they will find in the city of foz do iguaçu. here are Japanese restaurants with higher ratings, but I honestly don't know why. They must try the chawanmushi (a custard) they don't find on another menu here. it is excellent.

Very nice place for Asian cuisine. real taste asiens. live in Brazil! I had lost the taste. I'm glad I found this place during my weekend in foz!

Delighted by the tasty food, just need to be refurbished...

The interior design is at best ok, the waiting staff was friendly but the food was great. We ordered a mix of sushi and warm dishes. The sushi was served with home made pickled ginger and was all in all very good. The dumplings were extremely tasty and the soup was also excellent (both the broth and the soup condiments were very flavorful) . For dessert one was able to make use of the small dessert buffet. This wasn't anything special, some fruit two cakes and some other simple dishes. I would recommend the place simply because the food is excellent.
