Bidra med feedbackThis is an essential Frankenmuth experience! I had a really fun time checking this place out and enjoying one of their world famous chicken dinners.
My aunt has been coming to the Bavarian Inn Restaurant for over 50 years so while visiting her one day we decided to stop in.
Underwhelming! Once you get past the thrill of seeing grown men this side of the pond wearing lederhosen and some good German beer options on the menu, you
Very nice atmosphere, our waitress was friendly, and prices are reasonable. I thought the food was good, too, just maybe got too hyped up. It really is good, though. My sister got the fried chicken and I got the sausage plate. I bet the family style optionsare more fun!
Overall not a bad experience this time. I've been coming here for years, and it hasn't changed much. Although the serving sizes are getting smaller and the prices are getting higher. $30 pp for the chicken dinner is a bit high, considering one person willnever eat that much. Chicken was good, potatoes were good, veggies great, pasta salad and slaw were great, cranberry thing wasnot good, stuffing was wet and mushy. Schnitzel was great. Beans were inedible and crunchy, noodles were bland as was the soup, not worth eating either. You're paying for the experience here, but honestly I'm not sure it's worth it. The decor is indesperate need of upgrading. Next time we will try the place across the street. It looks like they've kept the place updatedover the years.
