Goodwood Frankfort

Goodwood in Frankfort, KY is a favorite place to stop in to get a great bite to eat and a few drinks. The food is amazing and the views of the city and water stand alone. I suggest The Waylon burger which is so good but if your a vegetarian then I suggest The Grazer burger which is black beans instead of hamburger but is still great and filling. The service is always great with very friendly staff and the bar selection of liquors is some of the best I have seen. If you find yourself in Frankfort KY then stop in and find your favorite off the menu.Vegetarian options: The Grazer burger is very good and the best vegetarian burger I have ever had.Parking: There is limited parking in front on the street so you will and may have to walk a little bit but the food and service is worth it.Kid-friendliness: Not so much since it is a bar so leave them at home.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs.

What a fantastic spot by the river! The menu is great, but the bourbon selection is even better. They offer many sought-after options that are hard to find elsewhere. The flight of four half-ounce tastings was reasonably priced and truly enjoyable. Madison and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect, even though we did get a little drizzle before we finished our dessert. We highly recommend this place! Don’t miss the unique deep-fried cheesy cauliflower—delicious! Mmmmm.

I rated the service 3 stars, not because of our waitress—she was wonderful—but because we waited too long in the entryway while numerous staff members looked right at us without any acknowledgment. It would have been nice if someone could have at least said, "Hi there! We'll be with you shortly!" Additionally, we had to contend with yellow jackets on the patio, but the river view definitely made up for it, haha. The food was fantastic! I would definitely return.

I’ve been to the Goodwood in Louisville and now this one. I love that you can sit outside overlooking the river. Great food/beverage offerings. I was taken back a little with their fries. Give it a try!

The fried foods had an unusual taste, possibly indicating that the frying oil needs to be changed. On the bright side, the wraps were quite good. I also appreciated the good service.
