Hoggy's Ice Cream - Frankfort

Ice cream is great, service is great. Go here often with my family. Just threw me off a little while we were there yesterday sitting outside on the tables with two toddlers and 3 individuals sat at the table next to us openly smoking a substance out of a glass pipe that was definitely not marijuana.

The “icing on the cake” for your Downtown Frankfort experience. The ice cream quality is where it needs to be, with nice folks serving up the scoops. Taking the cold treats out to one of the seats along St. Claire street is the vibe you’ve been needing.

Cute little ice cream shop. Good ice cream. Very reasonable prices. Love local. WARNING: Watch out for the staircase in the middle of the room. Very dangerous. My son hit his head very hard and cried all through his ice cream. Were not for the staircase, I would give 5 stars.

I typically do not write reviews but I have made an exception for Hoggy’s. I love their ice cream and do not understand how anyone could ever compare it to store-bought brands. The staff is exceptional and the location is perfect. Every time I walk or drive by there seems to be a nice crowd and that is great news for downtown Frankfort.And remember Frankfort friends, please support the locally-owned businesses we have here. I believe it’s the only way to attract new businesses downtown.
