Bidra med feedbackNice little tapasbar located in the back of the Frankfurter Kleinmarkthalle in the city centre. For a long time I wanted to visit this Schlemmerparadie in the heart of Frankfurt, but most of the time or dates were too tightly clocked, so that so far no time left. After 2 appointments went out this September day, I took my chance to visit the small market hall, 2 colleagues joined. Here you will find culinary fruits from all over the world also exotic fruits, spices...... which you will have to look for somewhere else for a long time in vain to eat right on site or to take home. Of course, we took this one or the other with for the loved ones at home, and our wallet was empty faster than we loved. The Arkade Cafe/Tapasbar offers mainly Spanish dishes and drinks various tapas, ham, cheese, paella., Sangria, Cervezas, Spanish wines.... at noon also lunch table offer. The decor, simple wooden furniture, the decoration with Spanish folkloristic moments large stone scoops, guitar, flags.......... everything clean. We decided to try different tapas: I didn't need much convincing work for this, while 2 decided for the mixed tapas plate cold/hot, this consisted of : potato salad with tuna delicious; garlic olives; Friuliflowers with Ajvar; grilled Pepperoni, grilled chicken wings beautiful crispy; Tuna salad very tasty; marinated artichokes with aiolisauce very lassy, unfortunately, Iberico ham very good, spicy white bread was added, 1 colleague for Muslitos fritos crust with garlic sauce decided well but small portion. A special enrichment of our day, however, was the well-launched upper who, with so many spits, saluted us our day 1, 5 meters high pepper mill, almost larger than the upper himself, brought to the table to thirsty, told jokes, sung......... at the end of our visit, he gave us all espresso doble to the house. I call this a successful lunch break, which unfortunately went far too fast to the end.
If you are looking for a typical Frankfurt restaurant with 100% fresh cuisine, find the “Marktstubb”. The restaurant is located in the Frankfurter Kleinmarkthalle on the gallery on the 1st floor. Here is freshly cooked and there are dishes that you hardly find on menus. The typical green sauce for Frankfurt is also available in various combinations, such as four half-eggs and fur-fell leaves or a golden brown roasted carving. The host offers daily changing 3-course menus that are unpaid. The daily menus can be found on the homepage of the Marktstubb. The operators are very busy on the go and understand their topic. What really impressed me is the fact that everything is freshly prepared, i.e. in the simple language: there are no freeze or bag products used. There is a very good soup for each menu and a dessert for completion. Beverage prices are also human and affordable compared to the rest of the city. The chop I ordered with roast potatoes (where else is a delicious chop on the menu? And a delicious salad was so delicious and so huge that I had to give up the planned ice in the afternoon.
