Black Powder - Franklin

My family and I stayed today for lunch at the Black Powder Bar and Grill on the way back to Hampton Nebraska after the camping in Harlan.. We want to prepare you for all the wonderful food you serve. You have a great menu with many good items to choose from. We ordered something different from Nacho, French dip, popcorn chicken and hot beef sandwich and we were all very happy with what we ordered. The food was GREAT!!! You have a very clean place with very friendly staff and the food was ready quickly!! I cannot expect to visit again in this way. Thank you.

My husband and I went to the Black Powder Bar and Grill for the first time tonight. We had checked them out on the website but have learned that the website is from the previous owner who has not taken it down. They don't have access and cannot change it. There are some slight differences on the new menu. The major thing being that they don't have Prime Rib nightly.

I arrived just 10 minutes before closing, which may have upset the cook, as my food was overcooked. I waited 25 minutes for my order and requested ranch dressing twice but never received it. The waitress only checked on our drinks once, right after the food was served, and I didn't see her again until she brought the bill. I waited a long time to pay by card, so I decided to leave cash and started to walk out when the waitress finally came to collect the payment. This was my second visit in two months, and I won't be returning!

Your menu offers a fantastic variety of items to choose from. We each ordered something different: nachos, a French dip, popcorn chicken, and a hot beef sandwich, and we were all really pleased with our selections. The food was absolutely fantastic! Your restaurant is very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and our food was ready in no time! We can't wait to return. Thank you!
