Sakura Japanese Resturant - Franklin

This is a fantastic place in Franklin! The service, prices, and food are all excellent. The dishes are incredibly tasty. It's definitely one of my favorite spots!

I found this place today, and it's a real hidden gem! We initially planned to dine in, but as our lunch break was coming to an end, we asked if we could switch to a takeout order. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating! Although we didn’t stay long, I was truly impressed by the decor, music, bar, and the team. The photo shows the Crunch Roll and the Boston Roll. The sushi has a generous fish-to-rice ratio. Sakura offers great prices—I got two rolls and miso soup for just $9.99 (lunch special). Thank you for running such a fantastic restaurant; I will definitely be back!

The service was really slow. I'm not sure if this is a one-time issue or a regular occurrence. However, the food was quite tasty.

They mistakenly brought me steamed gyoza instead of egg rolls, but they charged me the lower price for the egg rolls, which was a nice touch. The gyoza was quite standard—neither remarkable nor something to avoid. The Thai iced tea was a bit sweeter than I typically prefer, but still worth the price. Overall, I would definitely return to try more dishes. I noticed several tables ordering sushi, and the rolls looked enticing. The staff and owners were also incredibly friendly, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about their customers.

I stopped by for lunch after a long day at work and ordered the Pick 3 sushi option, which included the Rock n Roll, Boston Roll, and Philadelphia Roll, paired with a glass of water. I've tried sushi at various places in middle Tennessee, but this was the first time in a long while that I truly experienced full flavor. The smoked salmon, cream cheese, and lightly toasted black sesame seeds were all exceptional—something I rarely encounter when it comes to sushi. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great lunch spot. Five stars!
