Osteria Fraschetta Trinca - FRASCATI

Amaaaaaazing and unique place. A real roman experience. If you have the chance to go outside Rome, visit this place. It is a really particular experience. They have this old kinda restaurant inside a kinda old wine cavern. They only serve tavola fredda and few specials of the day (like polpette, lasagna, etc . The tavola fredda is not like others. It is really a looooot of traditional italian cheeses (pecorino romano, ricotta, provola, etc, , salami, prosciutto, grilled vegetables, dry tomatoes, olives, bread and, specially, traditional porchetta. Literally, it is a loooooot. I suggest to try la Romanella, a sparkling sweet red wine that can not be found easily in Rome. It is a really traditional thing you can enjoy there. They also sell the bottles of wine by the entrance. Ciambelle al vino were also something to try as a dessert.

Fantastic ambiance in a cave. Food is excellent with typical products of the area. Try the biscuits with a glass of wine. Perfect service.
