The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We did not have a reservation but were lucky and got seated right away on the upper level overlooking the bar. I do suggest reservations. The meal was top shelf! We started with the crab dip and didn't leave a speck. I had the veal shank and it was amazing! Michele had the sirloin and loved it! Do take the time to eat here if you're ever even close to Fredrick.

Honestly this place was a delightful surprise. From the outside and decor inside you would think this is a regular bar serving up typical bar food. But oh no, you would be wrong. The menu is comparable to any upscale (aka fancy) restaurant, and the chef cooked out meals perfectly. Nice atmosphere over the two levels of this establishment with a full-size bar and a variety of seats and tables nestled throughout. When we visited, the calamari had an interesting flavor but was incredibly salty--almost too salty to eat. My burger was fantastic and the charcuterie board my wife ordered was well-prepared and presented. The apple cobbler was terrific, as well. Would like to come back again.

We stopped in for Sunday brunch shared an entree, app, and then dessert. Everything was delicious, but we absolutely LOVED the Smores Bread Pudding dessert. Additionally, I'm from further south than MD and appreciate a good cup of sweet tea our wonderful server, Matthew P, had the great solution of bringing me a glass of unsweet tea and some simple syrup.
