Casey's - Fredericksburg

Took forever to be greated, while multiple employees walked past us. When we were, the server was very nice but stretched between tables. (Confusing as there were multiple employees just walking around giving no assistance) The food way overpriced for the portions given. My husband had the crab omelet, it was one egg barely any crab meat and he left hungry. I had the patty melt, which had a horrible flavor and there was nothing melty about the melt .Basically light toast with a crappy small burger a couple onions and a slice of cheese, $60 and left hungry... most definitely won't be back ?

We made a reservation through Open Table for a Wednesday at 7pm and traveled a long distance to arrive at Casey's for dinner, only to find that Casey's was not open. When we inquired at the neighboring restaurant we discovered that Casey's has been CLOSED every Wednesday for many years. Why does Casey's offer Wednesday reservations through Open Table if they are never open? Such poor customer service.

Came at 10 am on Saturday. Completely closed. No notice or explanation on door. Called the number and got an answering machine with the same hours listed.

Really impressed with service and the kitchen. Food was excellent. Server was attentive. Short ribs and grits were the best ever. Same for crab omelette. Loved the special — biscuits and brie and jam. Will frequent again.

Service was great! My husband said it was the best coffee he has tasted. We both had the sleeping beauty, food was so good we couldn't stop eating it even though we were full. We also enjoyed the pot stickers. Everything was outrageously delicious!
