Dona Tere - Fredericksburg

I 've eaten here a few times in the past and it was outstanding but it was always take out so I wanted to dine-in before reviewing. Y 'all have to believe me, this is the place!Everytime I eat here I say This might be the best I 've ever had. Everything is painfully good and their breakfast...I think I actually teared up a little when they brought it out. If that wasn 't enough they are a bakery too, a legit bakery. The sentiment of this might be the best food ever extends to their baked goods. I was absolutely blessed to have been there when they brought out fresh churros and doughnuts.The staff were wonderful and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. However, the food is good enough that I probably wouldn 't care if it wasn 't.

The BEST pupusas, plátanos, and rice with beans I 've ever had! I was very shocked how good the food was! Now I know where to go if I want some real authentic Salvadoran food! I had the 'Salvatruco ' plate.Food: 5/5

Finally stopped in to try Dona Tere and I must say, I should have come a long time ago. I love Latin food and I am not disappointed. The tamale is enough to make a grown man insecure. I'm about to lick the portion cup for the last drop of whatever intoxicating yellow sauce that came with my yuca. Everyone has a different yuca sauce...love yuca. I left with a giant bag of sweet treats for late night snacking. Mmmmmm, you'll be seeing more of my face! Thank you for deliciousness!

I try my best to stop in whenever I am on that side of town. My favorite dishes are any of the pupusas or tacos. My husband gets the Dona Tera plate, and our son has the chicharrones and yuca fries.Food: 5/5

Fantastic. My husband is from Honduras and said this is the most authentic place he’s been to in years. The food takes awhile to make because it’s FRESH. We love it!
