Sunset Grill - Fredericksburg

A nice little place tucked away from the bustle of Main Street, but it’s definitely no secret. Came for Sunday Brunch and there were quite a few parties already waiting outside. We decided a 30 min wait for the two of us was fine as we sat under one of the huge oak trees. We said we’d take first seat, and regretted not asking for the outside seating. 1) it was a beautiful breezy day and 2) it was crowded and noisy inside. People waiting for a table were standing around the bar trying to get a drink and made it hard to get to the restrooms. Also, there was one door the waiting staff kept using to go outside and it would slam every time. The inside noise levels made it hard to hold conversation. All that aside, the food came quick and was really good. I asked for a Boozy Cold Brew and it had a great balance. I could taste the coffee and not have it over powered by the Baileys. Crispy bacon, big English muffin. My wife got The Josephine which I would get for myself next time. Overall we would go again with beautiful weather to eat outside. Be ready to wait- cause it’s worth it.

Waited an hour for a seat, not worth a 15min wait. Wait staff was chaos, but very sweet and was doing their best, super grateful for them. Floor layout and seating seems to be poor management and leadership. Food was super mediocre, except biscuits and gravy it banged. Nothing that bad, but nothing that good either.

Great food!!! Wait was estimated about 25 minutes on Labor Day weekend and we didn’t wait any longer than that. Got seated and food came out within 5-10 minutes. Super fast service! And so yummy!

Magnificent! Breakfast today and can't wait to get back for lunch time.

We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. They even brought us a little bowl for water for our pup. Service was fabulous ?
