Blooms Winery 5511 Bistro - Freeland

No fancy menu or elegant ambiance but absolutely the best food we experienced on the island. Our first visit was on a Sunday afternoon for the wine tasting and we had an extremely pleasant outing on the patio. We were slightly hungry so we're ordered the chicken gyros. Wow! They were delicious. For the rest of our vacation we experienced disappointing food at other restaurants on the island that were supposedly well-rated. So at the end of our week, we decided to go back to Blooms. It was a stellar meal! When everyone at the table thinks they ordered the best dish, you know you have gone to great place.

Very elegant place. Food is excelent..We odrered mussles, salad with salmon and chicken with crab meet great. Russian cream dessert with rasberrie souce also was delucious. And great service

My wife and I spent our 50th anniversary at the Blooms Winery Suite in Freeland, WA. We consider this our little private hide-a-way so that's all I'm going to say about that. But we had a great meal at Blooms 5511 Bistro, the Three Sisters Burger was delicious and perfectly prepared. We purchased a bottle of 2016 Melange, a Bordeaux blend which includes Merlot, Malbec, and Petite Verdot. We live in Cayucos, CA which is next door to the Paso Robles wine country, so we are comfortable with with Bordeaux blends. We gave it a full 8 hours to breath and we loved it. It met any expectations one would have of a 91 pt wine.We had a wonderful visit up there and it was a priviledge to meet the winemaker and our host, Ken Bloom. Thank you sir.

We stopped in here on a Friday night to do a quick tasting. They had 3 flights to choose from- a white, mixed, and a red. My husband and I both chose the white flight and we enjoyed all the options offered! We also shared a charcuterie board. The offer a full menu as well, not just tapas/appetizers and I would definitely come back to try their dinner! The service was quick and friendly. The space was large yet cozy and they had a small shop with some goodies for sale!

Good healthy food served with high end plating. Nice servers. The space is large and echoes quite a bit, so not a great place for dinner conversation when the band is playing, but a nice place to enjoy a good meal and music and let your mind wander. Like this place a lot
