Richard's Gourmet Sandwiches

I went here and I asked for a vegan bagel. I was given a bagel with bacon in it. Not impressed with product knowledge - staff need some more training in what vegan is. I must admit though, the owner did do a decent sandwich, and they made up for it in the end, but if I ask for something vegan, I expect to get something with no meat or animal products!

Great selection of made to order sandwiches and rolls. The staff are friendly and efficient. Something for veggies and carnivores alike.

Love the atmosphere and service. Super friendly and cafe is spacious. I tried the mocha, well brewed and served. The sandwich - smoked salmon with Free range egg and capers is a must try. Heavenly.

We had a quick light lunch in this small quiet café, coffees and sandwiches. All were excellent. The sandwiches were served on boards. There were about 5 or 6 breads or rolls available and a variety of sandwiches, some of which had amusing names. These names with pictures were displayed on the wall. I had a Hoppinator, salami and other cold meats with salads on a huge multigrain roll. My wife had a smoked salmon and salad roll which didn’t qualify for a name. Soup, salads and other items are also available. Service was friendly and the costs were very reasonable.

Smart looking sandwich shop which delivers on the gourmet. At first look the menu seemed expensive but given the size of the sandwich it is value for money. Despite seeming understaffed when we walked in our foot was delivered to our table quickly. Sensational multigrain rolls lightly toasted with quality ingredients. Delicious.
