Ming - Fresno

The food was so unappetizing that I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I've never encountered truly terrible Chinese food until visiting this restaurant. There was an unpleasant taste that I can't fully describe, almost like the dishes were prepared in old, rancid oil. I really don't understand how anyone could give this place a positive review. It's not only off-putting, but the restaurant itself is dirty, including the bathrooms.

I 've been passing by Ming 's for *years* (probably more like decades) and this was my first time ever trying their food. All in all, it was a mixed bag of dishes. While we really liked the sizzling rice soup and the yee-fu wonton dish, the tomato beef curry chow mein was just so/so (it did not taste like there was any curry in it), and the chicken chow fun was also just ok. The inside was also not super nice for dine-in (we ended up getting takeout), even having no bathroom for patrons. The prices are cheap and the service was fairly fast and the server helpful, but even so, I would only give this place three stars.

Ordered the chicken soup and garlic eggplant. nope! it was so thick, the flavor was not fresh but glue like. the soup was too salty.

Zero stars. Do not dine here— the chow mein was unseasoned and barely cooked, topped with a tasteless gelatinous gravy. It was absolutely revolting. The food had an odd taste, lacking seasoning and flavor. This has been my worst experience with Chinese food to date. There's no way anyone could give this restaurant more than one star.

I live just a block away and had only eaten here once about ten years ago. Recently, I had a craving for Chinese food, so I decided to order salt and pepper wings along with tomato beef chow mein in curry sauce. The chicken was well-seasoned, super crispy, and juicy. The curry sauce was delicate and smoky, which complemented the buttery tender beef perfectly. I’ll definitely be ordering from here every chance I get! I placed my order in advance to avoid waiting, but when I arrived around 5 p.m., there was only one couple seated, so there was plenty of room available. The staff was polite and welcoming, and I also found street parking easily at that time.
