Layne's Chicken Fingers - Frisco

I underestimated this place. It was empty, and I thought it wouldn't compare to Cane's, but I was pleasantly surprised. They served me some fresh, hot tenders, and waiting just three minutes for fresh food after placing my order didn't bother me at all. The service was friendly, and I absolutely loved the Spicy Tenders with Spicy Sauce. If they offered two toast pieces instead of just one, they would really give Cane's a run for its money!

I really enjoy the atmosphere and the food at this restaurant. The standout feature of this location is definitely the staff. I appreciate the excellent customer service and the positive vibe from someone who is passionate about their work and dedicated to enhancing the customer experience. I highly recommend this place. Honestly, I prefer Laynes over Canes!

I'm new to the area and just used a welcome coupon. The specials and weekly deals are fantastic. The wings here have a totally different flavor and skill compared to Popeye's and Cane's. Their sauces are unique as well, and my favorite is the honey mustard. The bread and fries that come with the meals are also delicious. I will definitely be a regular customer. I should mention that over the years, I've eaten Layne's chicken many times, and the quality and taste haven't changed. While prices have gone up, their offers still make it a great deal compared to places like Raising Cane's or Slim's Chicken.

The chicken was hot a fresh!!! The only drawback was that they ran out of the spicy offers and that was the only reason I wanted to eat there, but there are regular offers just as good. I was just not satisfied with them. Would definitely go back when they have sharp offers.

UPDATE Jun 2022: Back for an overdue helping of chicken fingers. Their sauce is very good. We get two 3-finger piece meals; save one for leftovers and split the other one with potato salad instead of fries. Very tasty. We have been here several times since my visit in 2020 as well as the other location in Allen. Lots and lots of chicken restaurant competition in Collin county. Too many good places. UPDATE 2020: OooRah! Yes, they are open for dining in. We think they serve the best chicken fingers in Collin county. Their own sauce to dip into is the best. We have been to three different locations and they are all good. Best choice for us is two 4-piece chickens with potato salad side. Eat one meal take the other home.
