Ogawa's Wicked Sushi, Burgers, And Bowls

Had a very nice lunch here yesterday. Food was delicious and service was prompt. I had a chicken cabbage salad which was huge and very tasty. The only negative is that their water tastes terrible. Must be the city water.

GREAT wait staff, good burgers, terrible steaks. I have been to Ogawa's several times with friends who like sushi. Since I don't like sushi, I usually order a burger, but today I had a sudden craving for steak. What they served was awful--first I asked for medium RARE and got medium WELL. Waitress was great and made sure I had another, properly cooked steak. While cooked to the proper temperature, it was positively brined! Way too much salt. Way too much pepper. And the accompanying veggies were so overly salted that they actually burned my tongue. In short, if you like sushi, try Ogawas, but if you want steak, keep looking.

First time I've gone there. Love the decor. When the waitress came up to me I asked her some questions. It was apparent that she didn't like the fact that I asked her about things that they did not have. Which I didn't know they didn't have. I just wanted to find them on the menu. Right away there was an attitude change in her voice and body language. Made me feel bad at first. I did apologize to her and told her I didn't mean to say anything to upset her. I was merely asking about items and if they had them. She still had that same attitude and kept going on about you can't expect everyone to have certain things. Which I don't but I'm still going to ask if you have them if I'm new. So I got an appetizer that I ordered which was edamame. Then I sat there and waited and waited watching the people that were seated after me get all their food. All of a sudden she comes up and says oh I don't know where your food's at. She brought me some fried chicken pieces. the taste was okay ate 2 pieces) but it was very soggy and not very warm at all. So I figured that she just grabbed something that they had fried up on accident)a while ago and brought it to me to hold me over till she figured out what happened to my food. She should at least had found out when it was made. It basically took them about 45 minutes to get me the one item. And yes I paid for my food and gave her a tip. Which I really thought about afterwards did I make the right decision on that? I'm a nice person that wants to be treated the same. I really don't think I'll be going back there. Which really bums me out. And why it's because it's the way I was treated. The two stars that I give are for the restaurant's decor.

Excellent service and delicious, fresh sushi. The extensive menu offers something for everyone, and it's also kid-friendly.

The interior is very nice and comfortable. Both the sushi and burger were tasty. I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the VIP, but that might just be a matter of personal preference. It had a flavor similar to sweet Italian dressing. I’ll definitely return soon!
