Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed a very relaxing and different afternoon at this restaurant. When you go to this restaurant you enter into the life of the owner who clearly loves food and music. His life is evident through all the memorabilia scattered inside and outside. The comments made by other people just reflect their lack of curiosity and interest in mankind. We loved stepping into the world of this lovely man and his dog while enjoying food clearly made with care and pride. It was a true life experience. We literally sat outside in the middle of a field surrounded by stunning autumn colors and the beautiful lake enjoying delicious pizza and pasta while sipping wine. It’s quite magical. Life stood still for a while. What greater luxury than this. Don’t hesitate to treat yourself by stopping by and enjoying this very unique experience.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at La Partita. The owner was very welcoming and spoke in English the whole time. His dog is also lovely and just slept under my seat throughout the meal, which was delicious. This restaurant is great if you want to take your time and relax. People in a rush probably won't enjoy their experience.
Okay this one is going to be a big long one! We were cycling around the Fuji lakes and planned to return to Lake Kawaguchi by 8 PM. But eventually we could reach only by 8:45-9:00. And all the restaurants were closed and we were desperately hungry. We stopped in a pitch dark place, and were enjoying the night sky. Spookily enough, an old man appeared out of a small home and asked us if we were there for dinner. Astonished and scared, we said yes. He asked us to come to his restaurant. We haven’t returned our bikes yet, so we requested if we can come there in another 20 mins. He agreed and requested us not to cancel and lured us with pizza and pasta. We, of course returned back in 20 mins. We welcomed us again to us restaurant. The place was unique and looked classic. He has a dog called Candy and he is adorable! We ordered his special pasta, basil and garlic spaghetti! It was so good! We loved it. The French fries were amazing too! The pizzas were too much in tomato, but were cooked to perfection. Would recommend his cheese and garlic pizza, with only one request of less tomatoes. He can alter the menu for your needs! Definitely visit this place when you have a chance. If you visit in the evening, take the outdoor seatings. They look amazing, and surrounded by Momiji trees (maples leaf trees) you would definitely loved them. Except for the too much tomatoes pizza, everything was good! One good thing is he uses fresh tomatoes and fresh veggies from that day. Also he is the only one cooking, so please be patient and give him some time. P.S., he also has less calorie cola! You won’t regret it. He accepts cash only.
We were seeing the lake Kawaguchi for our first time and were walking a lot today. Actually we wanted to take the last tourist Bus Green line at 5:30pm but then we saw the cosy place and ordered a beer and a Wine. The owner was really friendly and even offered us to take us back to the station by car because there was no bus anymore! He started the oven outside to get some atmosphere and warmth which was great. His dog Andy was cute and friendly too! Maybe because we got the same name we also ordered Food, Pizza and pasta which was very good. He even played the Violine for us, we were the only customers tonight! Had a great conversation in englisch with him. Wish him all the best and Thanks again for everything you made our day at Fuji!!! Prost! Andy
Pet friendly, view of the sea, eclectic ambiente, surprising menu variety, quite extensive wine selection, good eating and even better business. confused with the low ratings here unless it was a wrong communication. my only disappointment is that I forgot to make any photos....a mistake I will visit at all my future. if I lived in the opposite, I would be regular, as it really felt like it was over in a friend house to dinner. staying in the nearby hotel with my teenage son and looking for restaurants nearby. we were immediately sold by the photos of not only the food, but the ambiente. if they expect a fast service, sparkling worktops, budget prices and stereotypical greetings, I suggest driving and getting to know the sea position. on the other hand, if they allow themselves to slip into the holiday mode and simply enjoy the food, charming atmosphere, and great company of Isehara-san Solo Action Hosting/Witter/Koch/busser/cashier/classical deejay/viola hobbyist/owner provided, then they can simply close the place down as we did. it was enough that my sohn even held phone is his bag all the time as a conversation between English and Japanese....a friendly dog to pet helped also. we are really looking forward to our next visit and thank them so much that they spend a few hours with us tonight.
