Bidra med feedbackWe first visited Olives Restaurant one afternoon for coffee. The proprietor greeted us warmly and served as though we had ordered a banquet. His friendliness and knowledge about his menu and food in general inspired us to book in for dinner the following evening. We were not disappointed. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted exquisite. Everything from the bread and special butters to the ice cream accompanying the dessert was home made on the premises. I can only recommend that you try the delights of Olives cuisine and its owner/chef Luis for yourself. I hope, like us, you will come way having had a pleasant evening and enjoyed some good food.
Wonderful food and excellent, warm, attentive staff. The menu is interesting with diverse flavours and Luis went out of his way to cater for a gluten-fee diet. Beautiful views of the sea and mountains too, perfect. Thank you so much for the lovely meals we had with you all the very best for the future.
I am a tour guide so I have been to plenty of restaurants in Madeira. To be honest Olives is my favourite. By far! You can really feel passion Luis puts to the dishes. The staff is really kind ... by that I mean naturally kind and not just trying to be. True professionals. All in all the food is delicious and the service is unprecedented. Oh, I almost forgot to mention ... They will surprise you with vegan options as well.
Very tasty eating and friendly wine. really beautiful location and definitely to visit!
Amazing restaurants with options for vegetarian and vegan (and of course also for allergic). very creative cuisine with intense aromas. the entrance is not easy to find, the restaurant is located in the first floor of the building (no terrace, but balcony). the waiting period could be a little longer than other restaurants, but they cook everything in front of location (so all preparation also). we had a great time there with friends and I can definitely recommend olives (managed by two brothers).
