Mad Rona's Coffee - Gabriola

Not sure what was happening in the shave, crazy expensive also in this world of inflation. very average cappuccino with the additional fee for non-milk surpluses. next to 2 cappuccinos we ordered a trail mix cookie for an breakfast snack. we thought it would be full of nuts and dried fruits, but we were surprised that it was really a chocolate chip cookie with a heel flakes. it was mentioned by chocolate in the description or signs. when I brought it to the servers, it was oh good no offer to exchange or refund, it just had to throw away. with $19 bill for 2 average cappuccinos coffee and inedible cookie, they save their money and go elsewhere.

A few people had recommended this restaurant, but after visiting twice, we were not impressed. The biggest disappointment was when I ordered a smoked salmon, cream cheese, and salad sandwich and it was served hot! I found it strange to have hot cream cheese and salad. When I asked about it, I was told that was how they served it. None of my family members enjoyed their sandwiches either. Despite being on an island with limited dining options, this restaurant didn't meet our expectations. We also hoped for internet access while dining, but unfortunately, it didn't work during our visit.

This restaurant has a fantastic location and a great atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee on a rainy day and cozy up in front of the electric fireplace.

First time there, loved the friendly staff and food
