Longhorn Steakhouse - Gainesville

Super terrific meal. our waitress, nianty, was great! my daughter got the 7 pfeffer steak salat I got her lunch ribeye sandwich special, but modified for my corn/corn derivatives allergie (brush my own honey roll.) steaks perfectly cooked the largest sweet potato I ever got!

UPDATE: As stated previously. I love the Firecrackers. This review is for our server ETHAN. He was great Daughter SIL had Ethan previously and they raved about him. Well Ethan remembered them and bought them the same drinks from before. Thanks Ethan. You Are The Best! I love the Firecrackers. Mmmm, mmmm good. The strawberry salad with grilled salmon. Yes! The salad had fresh strawberries. Grapes, mandarin oranges with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Others had the rib eye and sirloin. A very good experience which was helped by our server Matt. Thanks Longhorn Steakhouse. Thumbs up!

Food was exceptional, but like others have said rarely do i get a bad steak at a Longhorn. Customer service from the moment we stepped in was great. All the young servers just wanted to serve, it was great. In particular our server (Alex) is for sure manager material. Thanks for a great date night on our trip away. We are from MD. So the the southern hospitality was a breath of fresh air after living in the "DC "hustle and bustle.

This Longhorn location is very nice and (unsurprisingly) very similar to others I have visited. We came quite early so I don't know how crowded it gets later in the evening, but we had a very pleasant, quiet, unhurried dinner. The bread is always fabulous and they gave me plenty of butter without even having to ask for extra. My steak was very good and my wife says her crusted grilled chicken was very good, as well Why only four stars? Nothing stood out to me as extraordinary at this location, but it's a good, solid place to have dinner.

I ordered Flo's filet mignon and was given a sirloin steak. The waiter was good he complained to the manager. They told me that they were going to correct it but they gave me another sirloin. Filet mignon is my favorite steak and I have been to Longhorn numerous times. They kept telling me that they gave me my filet. The steak they gave me was 1/4 inch thick their filet mignon is over an inch thick. Not mention their sirloin is no where near as good as their filet mignon.
