The Alley At The Myrtle Bank - Gairloch

It’s refreshing to discover a restaurant that offers more than just a couple of vegan options. The Quorn chili was delicious, and the sweet potato, chestnut, and apricot tart was really flavorful as well. They also had a nice variety of desserts. The location is fantastic, with a lovely view of the bay.

The restaurant is clean and modern, offering vegan options that aren't explicitly listed on the menu. However, it does encourage customers to inquire about them. The portions are generous; I tried the vegetable curry, which was delightful. The staff is friendly, and I would definitely return.

There aren't many good vegan options in Gairloch, but Myrtle Bank Hotel was a beacon on our stormy night, leading us to a delightful meal. After a disappointing dinner at another place the night before, this was a fantastic experience. The menu featured two vegan main dishes, along with a vegan special on the board. Everything was delicious, and we give it a big thumbs up!
