Ristorante Pizzeria Il Barchetto

We stopped here on the way back from Pisa as I had seen good review when searching for places to eat on our drive. The restaurant is set in a lovely location, we sat outside overlooking the water. The menu had a great selection and it was very reasonably priced. The food was delicious and so was the sparkling White House wine!! The staff were very friendly. We will definitely return and would recommend this restaurant!

We had great pasta, wine, service and an amazing steak over arugula. Went twice during our two weeks it was so good.

Arrived in lucca on a Saturday as didn't book we couldn't get in to 2 other restaurants however although busy this restaurant found us a table. Enjoyed our meal of chestnut pasta with nettle sauce and spit roast pork for dessert pancetta with caramel sauce. Our first choice of wine not available but we were provided with a very ni e alternative at the same price. Tbe phillopino waiter spoke excellent English which proved helpful in explaining the dishes we chose.

Understates still fabulous local Tuscan cuisine. highly recommended
