Blvd Seafood - Galveston

Excellent food. It’s not dressy but it has outstanding fish dishes and desserts. (Google suggests it’s similar to Capital Grille and it’s not. It’s more laidback but the food is just as good. I had BLVD “fish of the day” lettuce Bibb wraps and my wife had Gumbo which I tasted. Both were the best I can ever recall having.

Oh my gosh! An absolutely incredible dining experience at BLVD Seafood! This was our first meal in Galveston and it set the stage for everything which came afterward. I had the Shrimp and Grits. So, so flavorful. The garlic bread was the best I've ever had. My wife had the Shrimp Linguini and was blown away! Just so delicious. For dessert I ordered the Keylime Parfait and while it was good, it would've been better with more keylime parfait. It had far too much whip cream in the place of the parfait. Don't get me wrong, the whip cream was good, tasted home made, but the main ingredient is the parfait and there wasn't much of it. Still, don't let that stop you. If in Galveston, just do yourself a favor and go here. Service was great as well. Kind and courteous.

OH MY! I picked this place solely based on the fact that they had escargot. I got dressed up because it seemed seemingly upscale due to the pricing. Don't be fooled! It is more casual than I thought, but still so very nice inside despite what you see on the outside. I made it for happy hour and got 2 cocktails: the cucumber martini was refreshing and delicious! The old fashioned was full the the brim and so worth every penny! I was able to get a cup of chowder on the happy hour as well. My lord! Best soup I've had in ages. Great pieces of clams, fish and BIG gulf shrimp! Not to mention how crazy and flavorful. Definitely burned my mouth because I couldn't wait. The escargot was just as good if not better than the ones I've had at authentic French restaurants. Such good, buttery, garlicy morsels! Then the soft shell crab was superb as well but I was so full I could barely manage it. Of course I had to see if their sugar-free cheesecake was anything like the one my grandma whipped up and threw in the fridge. NO. It was LEGIT, thick, creamy and decadent as you would expect a full sugar cheesecake to be. Can't wait to get back to the hotel and eat it while I soak in the bath tub! Food was amazing. Some of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had in my life. We had Kevin as a server and he was incredible!! Amazing service and delicious food we will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

We absolutely LOVE BLVD seafood!! Their brunch is always amazing! They have the best shrimp grits on the island! Their snapper grits for brunch is also delicious. We enjoyed their restaurant week menu for dinner. Service is always wonderful. Food is perfectly cooked seasoned. We never leave disappointed! Highly recommend!
