Fish Tales Restaurant - Galveston

Dry over cooked red snapper. Itty bitty shrimp and oysters for the fried platter. Overall: Over-priced, tasteless, tiny portions. They were out of raw oysters. Food took an unpleasant long time to come out even though we went on a Tuesday night and there was nobody else there, we almost got up and left. It was so freezing cold inside we were unable to enjoy our meals, it was so cold my dad and brother had to step outside to “thaw” while we waited for food. Go somewhere else and spend your money at a better place. I wouldn’t come here again.

Flounder was overly breaded, cocktail was watered down $10 for flavored cocktail (sorry, I mean water) basically!

My group sat outside on the patio, which was nice but very loud. The service was okay. Our server would often forget to bring us items we needed. The food was horrible and WAY overpriced. I got the fish and chips and I couldn’t eat the fish. It was so overcooked that is was just mush. I would not recommend eating here.

They were busy but the food came super quick. We stuffed ourselves. We’d go back for sure. Neat view of the rides at the pier.

Super slow service. We got there at 9 pm with our reservation. Food came out at 10:15 pm. Drinks were sitting at the bar for 25 minutes. My wife finally just got up and went to get them from the bar. The food was way over cooked. The salmon was cooked into oblivion and had no flavor left. We ordered shrimp kisses for and appetizer. It came out 3 minutes before the food finally came. Terrible place and way way way over priced!
