Grotto - Galveston

The food was like that. Calamari was a bit chewing and little taste. Margarita Pizza was good, but nothing great about it. The atmosphere is good and the staff was great. Bread and olive oil Dip was probably the best product we had.

We went for an event that came with a free app with Entree purchase. The place was empty, they told us that there were reservations so that we could only sit at the bar. That was good, but strange. Especially if you have an event on yourself, you would think they would save space for this. The restaurant probably didn't start to be busy until 45 minutes later, which we tricked. No matter, our bartender ROCKED has served us to make all drinks in it! The food was delicious. I had the braided pork Ragu with pappardelle pasta. It was so rich that the part was big. I took the rest home, had it for lunch the next day. My friends both got the pollenmagnesalate they enjoyed. The meatball appetizer was also good. It is expensive, but will definitely return for Ther Sunday dinner special. You have a decent happy hour that I forgot to make a picture of it.

AMAZING! Really great experience! Beginning with ambience, lighting, music, such a romantic experience. The food was also excellent. We had Snapper in two variations and both dishes were great. I ordered a red Sangria for me and it was sooo good. Talk about a desert SOO GOOD! (I feel like I've already used these words? We had a cheesecake and her signature Dessert-Yummy! Service was top notch! Our huge compliments in this beautiful place and staff. We're definitely coming back when we're in Galveston.

We came to a birthday dinner for a friend. The chicken Bianca Pizza was so good! Everyone loved their dishes and we all said we were back. The peach Bellini was also good. There were some nice spots at the hotel pool to make a picture even before or after dinner.

First time visiting Galveston, I promised my family we will all go out for a very nice dinner one evening. This shows up on yelp and boy was I impressed. The entrées are between 20 to 30 each dish. But it is definitely worth it. I ordered a crabcake which was out of this world. My Husband ordered a shrimp pasta and he absolutely loved it. My three little kids hors d?oeuvre a pepperoni pizza and it was amazing. Not to mention the **** Mary is delicious! Finally all waitress is amazing she was patient and professional, water overall great experience.
