Rudy Paco is truly outstanding. Our server, Chloe, was one of the best we've had in years. The food was exceptional. I would gladly drive the four hours to Galveston just to enjoy that fantastic experience again.

Owner Paco Vargas was present, ensuring that every guest was satisfied, and the service staff left a very positive impression. Each dish arrived at our table in perfect synchronization, a hallmark of the finest establishments. It was truly impressive! They struck the perfect balance by providing attentive service while allowing us to enjoy our private dining experience. By the end of our meal, we were quite full, but we couldn't resist ordering dessert. After all, we wanted to see if the quality carried through to the sweet finale. We chose the quattro leches and dulce de leche. If you have any fond memories of how your grandmother made dulce de leche from scratch, this dessert will surely transport you back to those days. It was simply incredible. We will definitely return whenever we find ourselves in Galveston! Thank you for making our anniversary so special and unforgettable.

The crab cakes were the best I've ever tasted—absolutely fantastic! Just a heads up, they do have a dress code.

I hate to give Rudy and Paco 4 stars, but my main course was a great miss, and our waiter was very lazy and not personal at all. I have the Grouper Special. It should be a creole sauce on top, but it was a tomato base sauce that totally exaggerated the grouper. The green beans on the side were literally not seasoned. The potatoes were great. $48 was wasted. Pretty expensive for a piece of grouper you couldn't even taste. My wife had empanizado the pollen. It was great! Very recommended. We also shared the crab cake that was fantastic. The waiter was very pushy to take our drink order, the food order, and clearly wanted to turn the table around. He was diligent, but obviously our experience has not taken care of at all. We usually love this place, but I think between my main course is a great miss, and the waiter, we will not return to Rudy and Pacos.

Went here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The restaurant had delicious food and drinks. The vibe was romantic and perfect for our celebration. Shout out to Micah for the excellent service tonight. He was attentive and very helpful.
