Texas Pit Stop Galveston

Enjoy this delicious meal! the ribs are particularly good. very good place to stop for a meal while exploring galveston. directly opposite the seawalk, it is really easy to stop and get a great meal with views of the sea, or take the bbq to the beach.

For the first time on 10/25. was very satisfied! had the two flesh / two side plate with pulled pork and truthahn with sides of green beans and mac and cheese. the pulled booze was very tasteful. the green beans had mixed a hauch of seasoning that was a beautiful surprise. the mac and the cheese were there. I was not very impressed by the truthahn. it was very humid, simply was not aromatic. the service was great. I did not catch the name of the woman, but she immediately brought a bowl of water for our dog (we sat on the terrace). She checked us out several times if we need something. super friendly! will definitely return.

We had tried another grill in galveston and were unimpressed. they hear so much about bbq in Texas that we really wanted a good experience. we were not disappointed by texas pit stop. we enjoyed the flesh, the soss and the sides. we would definitely return.

Good BBQ, service was good also. Had the sliced beef plate. Brisket had good flavor and body. Green beans and coleslaw were good. Got both sauces. For me, I liked the spicy bbq sauce, good flavor without overpowering the meat. Had a little heat on the backside. The regular sauce was also good. Friendly staff and a nice view of the gulf across the street. With iced tea cost was about $38 for a couple.

Delicious BBQ, fries, and fried okra. The mac-n-cheese was a little lacking in flavor, but everything else was superb! My hubby and I split the 3 meat plate and ordered an extra side. We had the brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. The pulled pork was delicious, but a little sweet for our preference. We got the spicy bbq sauce, but it's really not that spicy as far as heat level. It had a fabulous flavor. Given the flavor of the meal, I wish we had tried the bread pudding, but we were STUFFED!
