Willie G's Seafood Steaks - Galveston

Delicious and elegantly casual seafood dining in Galveston, TX. The seafood is fresh, well-prepared, and served hot. They offer fantastic martinis and fresh raw oysters. The vibrant atmosphere makes reservations necessary, but it's definitely worth the wait. The personal service is also a nice touch!

I tried the bar surfing and shave, which was an incredible value at $14. Just a heads-up, this is only available at the bar. The steak was perfectly seasoned, and there was a fantastic brown dipping sauce that paired excellently with both the steak and the lobster—especially with the lobster. I also ordered the friends and fries (fries with four cloves), which came with four large, tasty shrimp. The fries were above average. The twin sliders, which were just two small burgers, were decent but nothing exceptional. We also enjoyed a strawberry frozen margarita that was delightful and sweet; it was so good we could have sipped on it all day. Honestly, I'm already thinking about coming back to grab the friends and fries on my way out of Galveston—they were that good!

I left here on Saturday night. parking was close and paid by the restaurant when they eat there. the atmosphere is casual, most people wore shorts and T-shirts. we made reservations by google and were sitting immediately while people without reservations had to wait an hour, so recommend making reservations at weekends. we could get a couch with a table on the terrace overlooking galveston harbor. that was amazing and it made for a great date night for my wife and I. Our waitress daris was prompt, friendly and attentive. we started with the crab and spinach stuffed shells that were delicious! I had the fried seafood platter that was huge and cooked for perfection with a lot of taste. my wife had the act that was a bit boiled, but tolerable. she hates to send back that she treats it. the drinks were before place. we had the chocolate eruption for desert and it was also delicious! total great experience for a casual date night in galveston.

Great food! The mixed grilled Platter was huge fresh. We had lunch outside on the covered patio. You could see the water tour boats. We even spotted a dolphin! It's located on Pier 21. Great location and service. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place when looking for some fresh seafood. Everything tasted great, prepared well, presented perfectly! The atmosphere is comfortable. Staff is very friendly and will take good care of you. Parking adjacent to the restaurant with 3 hour validation by Willie G's. Great views of the harbor from the adjoining dock. Price is on the higher end but worth it for what you get! Can't wait to go back on our next trip to town!!
