O'flaherty's Seafood - Galway

Just got 2 portions of chips felt for the price the portion size was very small. Most of the chips were burnt and you couldn't eat them

I travel the Wild Atlantic Way on my motorbike all year round, and know every eatery in Connemara. O’ Flahertys Seafood shack is such a secret gem, and I say that, because most of the folks I know from Galway and Mayo have never heard of it. Always greeted with a very very warm welcome from Teresa and her sister, you pick whatever fish has been caught off the boat, incl gorgeous prawns. The fish and chips is without doubt the best I’ve tried, done to perfection, always cooked to order, so super fresh. The portion sizes are so so generous, I always get a small box with fish, prawns, and chips. I get sides of Tartare, garlic mayo and curry sauce. Picnic tables outside and umbrellas so whatever the weather, you are covered. I sometimes take mine down to the gorgeous beach nearby and chill. Best takeaway fish and chips on the Wild Atlantic way, just don’t tell too many people!
