William's British Pub - Gamla Uppsala

I literally paid €15 for a fried portobello mushroom and four undercooked boiled potatoes. Very disappointed.

Went here for some get together with my friend. A nice place to hangout with friends. Decent crowd. Great place.

I've been here a few times. Nice atmosphere although it doesn't really convince as a British pub. Reasonable range of beers on draft (although reflecting more American than British taste) and much larger variety in bottles, ranging from session beers to seriously strong stuff. Food basic but pleasant enough. Service good when it's quiet, but tends to be a bit slow when it's busy a bit understaffed for busy times.

This British style pub is located in the university area a few blocks away from downtown Uppsala. The beer selection is huge, with lots of fancy beers, many from micro breweries. Actually many of the beers are way too fancy... And beware, some of them are pretty expensive. Great hamburgers.

There is absolutely nothing special about this bar/pub. The choice of beverages is typucal, the prices are typical. It is not at all spacious so it gets crowded easily. Food available fries and hambourgers and such.
