Green Park - Gampola

We had a lovely lunch at Green Park. Clean, friendly service and most importantly: good food. We had the rice and curry buffet and the kids devoured the kottu.

This is located in colombo Kandy road between kadugannawa and mawanella. The food is delicious and clean with buffet as well as ala cart options. Prices are very reasonable and buffet for two with desserts costs only Rs. 900/ .

Easily the worst place and people I had the misfortune of visiting in Sri Lanka. Horrible service, they unlawfully charge higher prices on MRP products and put a non mandatory service charge. And when questioned, their rude staff and one particular manager in question started abusing me and mom publicly. Sri Lanka is full of amazingly friendly people but these are the biggest arrogant cheats. I wish I had time to file a police complaint. No one should go here. My local Sri Lankan driver as well said that he would never get a single guest to this restaurant again. Worst people ever.

The place is located closed to Hungula Junction on Colombo Kandy road. There is ample parking for at least 6 8 vehicle. Manager is very friendly and polite . Green Park serves both local and international cuisine. They have a variety of items to select and the prices are reasonable. Spending around Rs1800/ 4ppl can get a very good, quality buffet including desserts.
