Kaji Sushi And Lounge - Garden City

Used to be amazing but now clearly cutting costs. Food is more expensive and they give you less. What they do give is sometimes just bad. Very sad because this used to be a go-to for me and my partner.

Food was good! Service was terrible! When we walked in a woman, we sat in the hostess-gend and she ventured irresistibly her hand to us to find every seat. The waiter was so rude... never gave us water when he ordered, he just said... And it was like he was upset that I had questions about the menu. When the food came out, he put it on the table and ran off. I had to look for things like napkins, water and utensils and when he came here to bring them here, he said here. Never asked how things are or asked if we needed something, only very dismissed as if they were upset with work. No friendly environment at all and I noticed that it does not only happen on our table. Customer service lacks great time! I gave a decent evaluation because the food was very good.

Kaji has fantastic lunch specialities! You have a variety of special lunch options at a very fair price. My favorite is the 2 sushi reels $11 and 3 sushi reels $14 that both come with soup and salad. I personally exchange the soup with an additional salad, the dressing is so good! for a fee of $1. I've tried the philly, Boston, chicken tempura, shrimp empura, and Advocado salmon rolls that are all excellent. Besides, her alcohol is very expensive. Most cocktails are quite large and strong for just $10. There is a good wine selection of $9-$12 per glass. I am here several times with different people and everyone is always very happy with their lunch. I'm going back 100%!

Nice atmosphere, good service, food came timely and as expected. Just tried basic options this time but I would like to go back and try some special rolls. Appetizers Rock shrimp, it was fine miso soup, it was fine avocado salad it was fine for avo on iceberg lettuce Entrees Salmon with cucumber roll ok tuna roll ok sashimi deluxe cool variety of different fish to try

This is my new fav spot! There are so many beautiful options of special rolls, i think i order a different one every time. Service is good, staff always friendly, and the fish tastes fresh every time. They have cute outdoor seating in the back and not too pricey. I have been recommending this place to so many people, definitely worth the visit!
