Mac Melts - Garden City

I was a little disappointed that this restaurant no longer offers the mac sampler I saw in some pictures, but I was still happy with my dish. I got the vegetable mac (to be healthy, you know) with chicken added. I didn't realize the chicken was fried chicken, but at that point, the extra calories didn't bother me and the combo was quite delicious. I'd definitely want to try some of their other varieties next time the craving hits.

Won't be back. Don't know if it was a worker or owner who kept going out next door to get supplies. Had to go get a huge container of ice. Whoever was cooking has a filthy mouth should keep his comments quiet. Very uncomfortable to be in there it was during the week lunch time and we were the only ppl in there. There were no take out orders waiting the phone never rang. Seems that the Mac cheese was microwaved because it was scalding hot and was so hot for a long time (not sure). That was my first and only time there. Not going back.

I did takeout, the Mac and Cheese (ordered the 5 cheese) is very good. I might try one with some additions as just the Mac and cheese was a lot of cheese flavor. The portion was gooey, and had crisp parts as well.

I'm thrilled to see this restaurant back open. I stopped in for lunch and absolutely loved the food. The service was excellent, with a very friendly server taking my order. I can't wait to return for another meal.

Unfortunately, it appears that this restaurant has permanently closed. I noticed a sign on the door indicating closure and a leasing sign has been put up. It's disappointing as I really enjoyed dining here.
