The Smoking Ribs - Garden Grove

If you're a fan of BBQ, Smoking Rib is a hidden gem for smoked meat in central Orange County. My top two dishes here are the baby back ribs and Angus beef short ribs. I recommend heading there with a group of friends so you can sample a variety of dishes. Be aware that parking can sometimes be a challenge, depending on the time of day. Also, certain meats may run out, so arriving close to closing time doesn't guarantee that everything on the menu will be available. I highly recommend checking this place out!

We arrived at 11:15 and waited in line for the restaurant to open. Once it did, the place was packed! Everything was absolutely delicious! I ordered the rib sampler along with a side of blueberry cornbread. The meat fell right off the bone and was incredibly flavorful. The sides were also fantastic and served hot. I highly recommend this place!

I waited in my truck for this place to open, and I could already smell the delicious smoke wafting from inside. The parking situation is a bit tight, as there are many small businesses in the area. However, the staff were friendly and welcoming right from the moment they opened. It quickly filled up with patrons, which is always a good sign. The ambiance is fantastic, and the brisket and sides were spot on. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

The bride was phenomenal. Juicy, tasteful, well marbled, large crust and fork delicate. The service was great. The staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The looted green beans and onion rings left a little to be desired, but overall a great experience. Your menu basically makes you choose 2 pages to get the brisket and my proposal is to offer it by yourself. It is so good that it can stand itself without requiring any pages to add value. Just my two cents. Stop the big grill! Update: This place is still fantastic. We ordered a pound of brisket, a complete beef rack and 2 sides of beans. Everything was delicious, but the highlight of the meal were the beef ribs. Tons of taste and fall out of the bone delicate. They were sold out of them when I was here last few times and now I know why. The service was good and the value was on par with most other BBQ places.

THE SMOKING RIB, where price and quality LITERALLY intersect... I have been meaning to try this place out for a while. I've had bbq everywhere...meat slathered in sauce and whatnot. This place is way different. Before you enter the smell of the smoker hits you and you begin to salivate. Smaller than chain BBQ places, but, perfect selections. I had the full rack beef, beans, Mac n cheese and some slaw. I was seriously surprised at the low price, and the meat was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !! Service was immediate, food was hot and DELICIOUS. The beer was ice cold, the atmosphere.... was amazing. This place is a MUST VISIT !! AND IF YOURE SMART, GET THERE EARLY CAUSE THEY HAVE THE BEST BBQ IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA....AND I SAY SO...!!!
