Taverna Del Borgo - Gardone riviera

Always wanted to come here but there never seemed to be a free space, today I finally stopped by shortly before their opening time and had lunch. The waiter (a young boy with glasses) was super kind and nice, he let me sit and gave me water and coffee even when they weren't officially open yet. Afterwards, he recommended the pumpkin ravioli which was delicious and great for lunch. Finished my lunch with tiramisu it was creamy, perfect amount of flavours and overall 10/10!

Charmless. Unacceptable food. It arrived almost immediately after the order suggesting that it was not cooked fresh. Food sub standard (Tagliata was raw instead of cooked to medium then tasteless leather) Went across the road for pizza instead. WC's unsanitary.

I needed to grab lunch before my visit to the Vittoriale, and this Taverna was right across the plaza. Honestly, after consistently bad experiences with Lake Garda restaurants, I didn't expect much. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had a chick pea soup that was quite tasty and a ravioli dish that exceeded my expectations. I cannot give five stars because this assessment is based on just one meal. However, from what I have seen (and tasted), I do recommend the Taverna. The quality of the food here seems to be by far superior to that of most Lake Garda venues in the same price range.

Buoni e gustosi piatti, porzioni leggermente strette, prezzi nella norma considerando che siamo a due passi dalla vittoriosa.

Molto caratteristico locale. cibo delizioso e personale molto gentile. provarci!
