Jhonny's Mexican Cuisine - Garland

I was a bit surprised when I went in, I was the only one who could eat there. Nice Mexican restaurant, had Spanish music in the background and a few TVs on no sound. Mary, the waitress brought me to a table and brought me my tea and water. While I read about the menu, she also brought chips and salsa and this Great Jalapeño Salsa . Lunch today was Fajita Tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were very good and very good. Rice was very fluffy and the black beans were also very delicious. I need to add JHonnys to my list of places that eat on this site of Garland.

Where is a 6th Star when you need one! Seriously one of my favorite restaurants! EVERY time we come the food is amazing no matter the time of day or the day of the week! It's cooked fresh, served hot, and so flavorful you do a little dance with every bite! My favorite is the salmon with mushrooms vegetables. Normally I don't like paying for salmon at restaurants because it's often over priced, but this baby is worth every penny! The veggies are cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The salmon is cooked to a nice flaky finish and the sauce they serve with it is unlike anything I've ever had. I could eat the veggies that sauce ONLY and still feel like I got my money's worth.

Y'all... diamond in the rough. Especially with these prices! You like salsa verde? They got you. You like margaritas? They got you. You like fajitas? Well, the chicken was a little well done, but tasted so good! Even the beans tasted great. I will definitely be coming back. Maria too great care of me too!

This is some of the freshest, tastiest Mexican food I've had in a long time. I'm so used to having peas or green beans in the rice so I was pleasantly surprised when the rice here tasted amazing on its own. No peas necessary. The beans were fantastic and the avocado enchiladas are something I will order again! Also, seriously, get the queso. So good.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. This will now be our Go To spot for Tex Mex. Every detail of the food tasted on-point and freshly made with care. Seriously, the subtle attention to detail impressed us despite our being jaded, picky Millenials. Great margaritas too, very fair pricing, and friendly staff. What are you waiting for??
